Really cute lantern, it have some signs of the time.It would fit perfectly the entrance of the house, giving a touch of rustic. I have cleaned it, but I've left some parts in the original state, if you want to clean it perfectly, just dismantle it, wash it with normal shoap and an used sponge for dishes ( so as not scratch the surface) pass a light touch of syntetic oil and anti-wear.
It need to be rewired.
